I am dedicated to caring for clients through massage and Reiki treatments, as well as through education and the cultivation of body awareness. Most people are not familiar enough with the structural and neurological aspects of their bodies to recognize the daily patterns that contribute to muscular tension.
From experience, I know that taking time to explain the body’s mechanics—where muscles attach, what actions they perform, and how the nervous system governs muscle activity—empowers clients to reduce their own tension patterns.
I remind clients that while I only see them for a limited time, they live in their bodies 24/7. For this reason, part of my treatment approach is providing tools such as stretches, ergonomic adjustments, and articles and media to support their healing outside the treatment room.
